Ingredients

Prices are from Walmart the week of October 11, 2026. Sale prices change every week and differ by store.

Steps

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add ground turkey and cook, breaking it apart as it browns, for 8 to 10 minutes until no pink remains.
  2. Stir in the Goya adobo seasoning and 2 tbsp water. Simmer for 1 minute to blend the flavors.
  3. Warm the taco shells according to package directions, about 2 minutes in a 350 degree F oven or skillet.
  4. Fill each shell with seasoned turkey, lettuce, and tomato. Serve immediately.

Why it’s cheap

2 of the 7 ingredients were on sale at Walmart the week of October 11, 2026, led by goya adobo all-purpose seasoning with pepper at $1.25 instead of $2.52.

The sale items rang up $2.52 under their regular prices.

Penny Meals prices a dinner by the share of each package you actually cook, adds an estimated shelf price for anything that wasn’t on sale, and counts pantry staples like oil and salt as free. That came to $3.05 a serving, or $12.20 for 4 servings.
