Ingredients

Prices are from Winn-Dixie the week of October 11, 2026. Sale prices change every week and differ by store.

Steps

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to boil and cook linguine until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, mince garlic and pat shrimp dry with paper towels.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over high heat. Add shrimp and cook 1 to 2 minutes per side until just pink, then transfer to a plate.
  4. Add garlic to the skillet and cook 30 seconds, then pour in wine and lemon juice. Scrape up any browned bits and simmer 1 minute.
  5. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss with the sauce. Fold in cooked linguine and broccoli, then season with salt and pepper and serve.

Why it’s cheap

4 of the 10 ingredients were on sale at Winn-Dixie the week of October 11, 2026, led by raw shrimp at $7.99.

Penny Meals prices a dinner by the share of each package you actually cook, adds an estimated shelf price for anything that wasn’t on sale, and counts pantry staples like oil and salt as free. That came to $3.43 a serving, or $13.72 for 4 servings.
