Ingredients

Prices are from Kroger the week of October 11, 2026. Sale prices change every week and differ by store.

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Cut potatoes into quarters and toss with 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt and pepper. Spread on a sheet pan and roast for 15 minutes.
  2. Toss wings with 1 tablespoon olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper. Push potatoes to the sides of the pan and add wings. Roast for 20 minutes until wings brown.
  3. Toss broccoli with melted butter, salt and pepper. Add to the pan in the last 5 minutes of cooking until just tender.

Why it’s cheap

4 of the 10 ingredients were on sale at Kroger the week of October 11, 2026, led by chicken wings at $1.99 instead of $3.49.

The sale items rang up $4.92 under their regular prices.

Penny Meals prices a dinner by the share of each package you actually cook, adds an estimated shelf price for anything that wasn’t on sale, and counts pantry staples like oil and salt as free. That came to $1.66 a serving, or $6.64 for 4 servings.
