Ingredients

Prices are from Publix the week of October 4, 2026. Sale prices change every week and differ by store.

Steps

  1. Thaw shrimp under cool running water for 5 to 8 minutes. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season shrimp with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Sear shrimp in batches, 2 to 3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
  3. Toss coleslaw mix with lime juice and optional mayo or sour cream until lightly dressed.
  4. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet for 30 seconds per side. Serve shrimp with coleslaw and warm tortillas on the side.

Penny Meals prices a dinner by the share of each package you actually cook, adds an estimated shelf price for anything that wasn’t on sale, and counts pantry staples like oil and salt as free. That came to $3.80 a serving, or $11.40 for 3 servings.
