Ingredients

Prices are from ALDI the week of October 18, 2026. Sale prices change every week and differ by store.

Steps

  1. Prepare the stuffing according to package directions using 2 cups of water and 1 tablespoon butter. Set aside and keep warm.
  2. Pat the pork chops dry and season both sides with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the pork chops 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
  4. In the same skillet, peel and slice the apple. Add to the skillet and cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the frozen green beans and cook 3 minutes more until the beans are tender.
  5. Serve the pork chops with the stuffing and topped with the apple and green bean mixture.

Why it’s cheap

3 of the 9 ingredients were on sale at ALDI the week of October 18, 2026, led by boneless center cut pork chops at $4.79 instead of $5.39.

Penny Meals prices a dinner by the share of each package you actually cook, adds an estimated shelf price for anything that wasn’t on sale, and counts pantry staples like oil and salt as free. That came to $1.83 a serving, or $7.32 for 4 servings.
