Ingredients

Prices are from Sprouts the week of October 4, 2026. Sale prices change every week and differ by store.

Steps

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Pat mahi mahi dry, season with salt and pepper, and sear 4 to 5 minutes per side until cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
  2. In the same skillet, add remaining oil and frozen riced cauliflower. Cook 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through. Squeeze lime juice over the cauliflower and stir in cilantro. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Divide cauliflower rice among plates, top with mahi mahi fillet, and serve with lime wedges.

Why it’s cheap

2 of the 7 ingredients were on sale at Sprouts the week of October 4, 2026, led by mahi mahi fillets at $8.99.

Penny Meals prices a dinner by the share of each package you actually cook, adds an estimated shelf price for anything that wasn’t on sale, and counts pantry staples like oil and salt as free. That came to $3.43 a serving, or $13.72 for 4 servings.
