Ingredients

Prices are from Walmart the week of October 11, 2026. Sale prices change every week and differ by store.

Steps

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  2. Scramble the eggs and push to the side, then add the crab claws and corn and cook for 3 minutes until heated through.
  3. Add the cooked rice and garlic, breaking up clumps, and stir for 2 to 3 minutes until everything is hot.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce and toss to coat, then top with scallions and serve.

Why it’s cheap

2 of the 8 ingredients were on sale at Walmart the week of October 11, 2026, led by frozen cooked crab claws and arms at $17.50 instead of $22.24.

The sale items rang up $5.08 under their regular prices.

Penny Meals prices a dinner by the share of each package you actually cook, adds an estimated shelf price for anything that wasn’t on sale, and counts pantry staples like oil and salt as free. That came to $2.87 a serving, or $11.48 for 4 servings.
