Steps
- Dice the tomatoes and mince the garlic.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add diced tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and simmer 8 to 10 minutes until the sauce breaks down.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions in salted boiling water, drain and set aside.
- Add the meatballs to the sauce and heat through for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Toss pasta with meatballs and sauce, finish with red pepper flakes if desired.
