Ingredients

Prices are from Publix the week of October 4, 2026. Sale prices change every week and differ by store.

Steps

  1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with Complete Seasoning, salt and pepper.
  2. Slice peppers into thin strips, removing seeds and stems.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until no longer pink, about 6 to 8 minutes, then transfer to a plate.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté peppers until softened and slightly charred, about 5 to 7 minutes, then return chicken to the pan to warm through.
  5. Warm naan according to package directions and serve topped with the chicken and pepper mixture.

Why it’s cheap

4 of the 7 ingredients were on sale at Publix the week of October 4, 2026, led by just bare chicken breast fillets, boneless and skinless at $4.39 instead of $8.79.

The sale items rang up $10.75 under their regular prices.

Penny Meals prices a dinner by the share of each package you actually cook, adds an estimated shelf price for anything that wasn’t on sale, and counts pantry staples like oil and salt as free. That came to $2.34 a serving, or $9.36 for 4 servings.
